Bernard Feni, Chief Executive Officer of Euro Gold Refinery, has been named Best Entrepreneur of the Year 2026 at the 2026 Business Excellence Awards in Kampala.
The recognition was presented during the awards ceremony held at Sheraton Kampala Hotel on 14 August 2026, where Euro Gold Refinery also received the Platinum Award for Best Natural Resources and Extractives Company in Uganda.
The double recognition marks an important achievement for both the company’s leadership and the wider Euro Gold Refinery team.
Leadership Driven by Purpose
Speaking following the recognition, Bernard Feni highlighted three principles that have remained central to Euro Gold Refinery’s development: validation, job creation and transparency.
He dedicated the recognition beyond himself, describing it as an achievement that should encourage young Ugandans to believe in their potential and their ability to build enterprises that contribute meaningfully to the country’s economy.
